Privacy policy

Last updated 25 September 2026. This policy is reviewed periodically; if anything here is unclear, ask us before you order.

Who is responsible for your information

Bed Linen Company UK, a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd. UK administration office: Suite 14, 18-19 Bennetts Hill, Birmingham, B2 5QJ, United Kingdom. Email theteam@bedlinenshop.co.uk. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

What we collect and why

We collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, the contents of your order and any messages you send us. We use them to take and deliver your order, to answer your questions, to prevent fraud and keep the website secure, and to keep the business records the law requires.

The lawful basis is the contract with you for orders and support, our legal obligations for records, our legitimate interest in running a secure shop, and your consent for optional analytics.

Stripe or PayPal processes your payment details on its own service. This website does not see or store your full card details.

Who receives information

We share only what each needs with our payment providers, our hosting and order-storage providers, our email and customer-support tools, and the courier that delivers your order. We do not sell personal data.

Transfers outside the UK

Some of these providers, and our own team, process information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum approved under UK law.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept for six years, the period UK law expects business and accounting records to be kept. Other information is kept only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to how we use it, take it with you, and withdraw consent at any time. Email theteam@bedlinenshop.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
